1. Sawai Man Singh Stadium, Jaipur
The Sawai Mansingh Stadium is located in the heart of Jaipur and has a seating capacity of around 30,000. It is named after the erstwhile Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II, who was a cricket enthusiast and instrumental in the development of cricket in Jaipur. The stadium was built in 1969 and has been the home ground for the Rajasthan Royals since the inception of the IPL in 2008.
The ground has a unique feature in the form of a circular pavilion that is reminiscent of traditional Rajasthani architecture. This pavilion is known as the “SMS Pavilion” and is a favorite among the fans.
The Sawai Mansingh Stadium underwent a major renovation ahead of the 2013 IPL season. The upgrades included the addition of a new stand, new dressing rooms, and a state-of-the-art media center. The renovations have made the stadium one of the most modern and well-equipped venues in the country.

Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati will be RR’s second home ground for a noble cause. The cause is to promote sports in the Northeast. Rajasthan Royals (RR) will play their two matches on April 5 and on April 8 — against the Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Delhi Capitals respectively in Guwahati. It will be the first time since the inception of the IPL in the year 2008 that a match held in the North-East State of India. Earlier also in IPL, the season 2020 match was scheduled to be held but the entire IPL tournament was shifted to Dubai due to the pandemic.
Inaugurated on 10 October 2017, It is a state-of-the-art cricket stadium. It is the largest cricket stadium in the North-East states of India. Barsapara Cricket Stadium located in Guwahati, Assam is owned and administered by Assam Cricket Association. The stadium possesses an impressive structure with spacious seating. It has the capacity to host a maximum of 50,000 spectators. The entire complex is spread over a land area of 59 bighas.
