
The BRSABV Ekana Cricket Stadium (initially Cricket Stadium), located in Lucknow is the home ground of the IPL franchise Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). It was renamed after Ex-PM Late Shree Atal Bihari Vajpayee as Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium also abbreviated as BRSABV Ekana Cricket Stadium. Stadium was inaugurated in 2018 and has seating capacity of over 50,000. It has all state-of-the-art facility that makes it an ideal venue for cricket matches. It is one of the largest stadiums in India and has hosted many international and high-profile matches. The stadium posses many world-class amenities, including modern dressing rooms, top-notch floodlights, and scoreboard at par with international standard.
On 25th October 2021, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) franchisee of IPL was founded, since then it is home ground of LSG. Sanjeev Goenka is its principal owner.
