
Fans are eagerly waiting for IPL 2023 because this IPL season is going to be very exciting. Time is over and on 31st march that is today (at time of writing this post) we will see the inaugural match. In the inaugural match will be played between defending champion Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahemdabad the home ground of Gujrat Titans at 7.30pm IST.

Groups of Teams in this season
There is no IPL 2023 format will be the same as IPL 2021. All the 10 Participating teams will be divided into 2 groups i,e. Group A & Group B. each group will consist of 5 teams. All teams will play 7 matches at their home ground and 7 matches away. During league stage 14 matches every team in each groups will play before playoff followed by final. In total 70 league matches including 18 double headers will be played in this season.

League Stage Matches in details with timing & Venue
31st March 2023 (Friday) Match Details
The 1st match and that is going to be inaugural match of TATA IPL 2023 will be played between Gujarat Titans (GT) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on 31st March. This match will be played at 7:30 pm in Ahmedabad, Gujarat which is the home ground of Gujarat Titans.
1st April 2023 (Saturday) Match Details (Double Header)
On 1st April there is going to be a double header being on a Saturday. The 2nd match of IPL match will be played between Punjab Kings (PK) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at 3:30 PM in Mohali.
The 3rd match of IPL is going to be held between Lucknow Super Giants and Delhi Capitals at 7:30 pm on 1st April itself in city of nawabs, Lucknow at home ground of Lucknow Super Giants that is Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium.

If we talk about 2nd April, it will be a Sunday and again 2nd April also it is going to be a double header. The 4th match of IPL will take place on 2nd April between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) at 3:30 PM in Hyderabad.
So the 5th match of IPL is going to be held between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RBC) and Mumbai Indians (MI) on April 2nd in M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru in home ground of RBC at 7:30 pm.
